At St Gabriel’s Pre-School we believe children learn in the here and now. Every moment of curiosity, effort and interest is a ‘teachable moment’. Having skillful adults who can tune in to these moments, we can observe, think about what this tells us about a child’s interests and respond.

 

In doing this and responding with appropriate strategies, at the right time, supports children's well-being and learning. This enables children to be confident and active learners allowing them to think critically whilst playing and exploring.
